Hudson’s Designer Portraits is located in Renton, WA. This suburb of
Seattle, only twenty minutes from the heart of the city, is a blue-collar
community that is home to Boeing and the Pac Car Trucking Company (they
manufacture the Kenworth and Peterbilt Trucks). Renton has changed a lot in the
past 25 years of business and is currently becoming one of the premiere areas
to live in south of Seattle. Many of the employees from other local
Seattle-based companies reside in the Renton area or close to, such as
Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon.com, and Nordstrom.
The 3,000 square foot building formerly was a home, a real estate office, and a
daycare. Renovated by Hudson’s in 1987, the 1.3 acre property features an
elaborate outdoor portrait park with extensive landscaping, water fall, gazebo,
and even a 1950’s gas station!
