Studied music, received music education degree from Western Washington University in 1978, taught jr. and sr. high band from 1978-82
Personal Note:
Married high school sweetheart Sue in 1975, celebrated 20th anniversary with our children Josh and McKenna in Hawaii 1995. Sue passed away 3 ½ months later from melanoma cancer. See

Married Terri in October 2007
Free Time:
Loves golf (plays at least 1-3 times a week in the spring and summer), cooking, wine, scuba diving (warm water), traveling, writing... and MARKETING!
Teaching Experience:
Has lectured in every state except Alaska, and has taught in Canada, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico

Science Fair 1st Place 9th Grade, Outstanding Soloist Award with Trumpet at the Orange Coast College Jazz Festival 1973, Numerous photography awards in State, National, and International;

- WPPI 1st Place Album Award (First year they offered it!)
- First perfect 100 score in WPPI history

- WPPI Photographic Achievement Award (for Bruce and Sue)

Most Proud of:
Running 30 miles to win “Walk-a-thon”-the prize was a dinner for 2 at the Seattle Space Needle (Bruce and Sue’s first date in 1970!). Turning photography from a hobby into a successful business. My kids- putting them through college without student loans. Terri and her growing real estate business. And two fast recoveries from two hip replacement surgeries!
Favorite Foods:
Anything Italian, Mom’s chicken and dumplings, good wine not bad wine, Miracle Whip not mayo, sweet pickles not dill, just to name a few!
